S + J’s wedding at The Edgewater in Madison was romantic, whimsical, and filled with soft color and thoughtful details. Inspired in part by the bride’s gorgeous Chantilly lace ballgown, the design layered delicate textures with blush, peach, lavender, soft blue, and creamy neutrals, while subtle gold accents brought a touch of vintage romance to the celebration. The whimsical floral direction carried throughout their design inspiration, from the stationery to the reception details.

The day began with a rooftop first look overlooking Lake Mendota before guests gathered beneath a beautiful tented patio for the ceremony. Lush greenery climbed overhead while whimsical garden-inspired florals framed the aisle and ceremony space. As the bride and groom exited, they were greeted with a signature cocktail, a raspberry mojito and blood orange margarita, setting the tone for the celebration ahead.

Inside the ballroom, tall, airy floral arrangements drew the eye upward and complemented The Edgewater’s grand ceilings, while lace-inspired table runners, delicate details, and touches of gold tied the entire design together. Guests added their own brushstrokes to a painted canvas guest book, creating a keepsake completely unique to the couple.

From the lakefront views and overflowing florals to the live band that kept the dance floor packed all night, S + J’s wedding felt elegant without being overly formal, colorful, personal, and effortlessly romantic.

S + S’s wedding at The Tinsmith in Madison brought together timeless elegance and the venue’s modern industrial character in a way that felt warm, romantic, and effortlessly fun. Classic green and white florals filled the greenhouse-inspired space, while layers of candlelight softened the exposed brick and industrial details, allowing the natural beauty of The Tinsmith to become part of the design.

Their celebration was filled with details that felt unmistakably them. Instead of a traditional cake cutting, S + S split a cookie, a fitting choice with Insomnia Cookies providing dessert. Guests were also invited to join the couple for a fast-paced, one-song photo moment, creating the opportunity to capture a photo with nearly everyone they loved without pulling them away from the celebration for long.

And once the party started, Felix & Fingers Dueling Pianos became one of the highlights of the night, filling the room with music, laughter, and a packed dance floor.

From the glowing candlelight and lush greenery to the unexpected moments woven throughout the evening, S + S created a Madison wedding that balanced elegance with personality, and proved that some of the most memorable celebrations are the ones that don't take themselves too seriously.

E + E’s November wedding at the Goodman Community Center was warm, romantic, and full of everything we love about a late-fall celebration in Madison. Their palette embraced the season with soft peach, rust, terracotta, warm neutrals, deep greens, and delicate fall florals, creating a design that felt organic and inviting.

The day began downtown with a first look at the Wisconsin State Capitol before heading to Goodman for an intimate ceremony framed by a beautifully adorned fireplace mantel overflowing with fall blooms and greenery. For the reception, the venue’s industrial architecture became the perfect contrast to the softness of the design. Hanging greenery and string lights warmed the space overhead, while tables were layered with lush seasonal florals, vintage-inspired candlesticks, and plenty of candlelight.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, E + E chose cheesecake for their cake-cutting moment, adding another personal touch to a day that felt entirely their own.

And because Wisconsin weather always likes to make an entrance, the November evening brought a surprise flurry of snow during dancing, creating some of the most magical photos of the night. From fall color to candlelight and an unexpected touch of winter, E + E’s wedding beautifully captured that fleeting moment when one Wisconsin season begins to turn into the next.
