C + B’s October wedding at Grand Geneva Resort blended elevated fall romance with just the right amount of Halloween spirit. Rich autumn florals, warm candlelight, and real pumpkins overflowing with blooms transformed the reception, while playful details gave the celebration a personality entirely its own.
Their ceremony took place at sunset overlooking the pond, surrounded by the changing colors of a Wisconsin fall. But as the evening unfolded, the mood shifted from romantic to a little unexpected. Life-size skeletons held a coffin overflowing with candy, custom “Till Death Do Us Part” matchbooks carried the theme into the smallest details, and the festivities had already begun the night before with a costume-party welcome celebration.
Inside the reception, one of the biggest moments of the night came when the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band entered, filling the ballroom with the unmistakable sound of bagpipes and creating an entrance guests wouldn’t soon forget.
At the center of it all was a three-tier wedding cake surrounded by a show-stopping ring of lush fall florals, creating a statement moment worthy of the room. From pumpkins and candlelight to skeletons, bagpipes, and a little bit of spooky-season fun, C + B’s wedding embraced October without becoming a themed wedding, moody, romantic, playful, and completely personal.

B + M’s wedding brought a playful touch of western-inspired charm to an elegant Lake Geneva celebration. A soft palette of light blue, gray, ivory, and greenery created a timeless foundation, while subtle horseshoe details and warm leather accents gave the day just the right hint of rustic personality.
Some of the most memorable details were also the most personal. Their cake featured an adorable dog cake topper with a little frosting on its nose, while guests were invited to leave their mark by signing a wooden duck decoy, a fun alternative to a traditional guest book that felt completely unique to the couple. A leather bar menu added another layer of western character, and a beautifully styled dessert bar gave guests plenty to enjoy beyond the traditional cake.
From the refined color palette to the unexpected details woven throughout the celebration, B + M’s day was proof that a wedding can feel elevated without losing the pieces that make it personal, a little classic, a little country, and entirely their own.

M + T’s summer wedding at The Abbey Resort was colorful, romantic, and overflowing with garden-inspired details. Their design embraced the feeling of a summer wildflower garden, with lush, loosely gathered florals in shades of blue, peach, pink, yellow, and lavender paired with bridesmaids in beautifully mismatched floral-print dresses.
The couple exchanged vows beneath The Abbey’s gazebo surrounded by vibrant blooms before celebrating with a champagne toast immediately following the ceremony. Under the tent, long tables were layered with colorful florals, alternating colorful linens, mismatched water goblets, and playful details that carried the garden-inspired palette throughout the reception. Their pressed-wildflower wedding cake became a piece of the design itself, covered in delicate colorful blooms.
As the sun began to set, M + T stepped away for glowing golden-hour portraits before returning to celebrate beneath a canopy of string lights, creating the perfect warm summer glow over the dance floor.
