E + D’s wedding at The Abbey at St. James was romantic, layered, and just a little unexpected, a celebration built around their vision for a cohesive atmosphere with subtle nods to the classic Wisconsin supper club. Their palette of blush, pearl, deep berry, soft green, and black set the foundation for a design that felt timeless without feeling traditional.

The day began with their ceremony inside the Abbey before guests moved to the patio for cocktail hour, giving us the opportunity to completely transform the ceremony space behind the scenes. When the doors reopened, the Abbey had become an intimate, candlelit reception filled with warm lighting, rich textures, lush blush and white florals, velvet runners, and green-and-white floral dinnerware. Custom cloth menus added another layer of texture to each table, while personalized trucker hats embroidered with E + D’s two pups gave guests a playful favor that felt completely their own.

Before welcoming everyone back inside, E + D shared a private room reveal, one quiet moment to take in the space they had spent months imagining before it filled with everyone they loved.
​
And the evening still had one more transformation. After a dress change, the newlyweds made their second entrance of the night with espresso martinis in hand, and a cart of them to share, officially shifting the celebration from romantic dinner party to late-night party.

From the supper-club-inspired details to the deeply personal touches, E + D’s wedding was a perfect example of what we love most about design: creating an experience that doesn't simply look beautiful, it feels unmistakably like the people we're celebrating.

J + K’s wedding at Vista was everything a spring wedding in Milwaukee should feel like, light, airy, colorful, and effortlessly romantic, with the city itself becoming part of the design. Their palette of soft blush, powder blue, lavender, warm neutrals, and fresh greens inspired a garden-forward look that brought softness and movement into Vista’s modern space.
​
The celebration began on Vista’s balcony, where J + K exchanged vows surrounded by spring florals and the Milwaukee skyline. Guests then headed downstairs for cocktail hour while the team completely transformed the ceremony space for the reception. Back upstairs, the room took on an entirely new feel. Beneath the skylights and surrounded by windows overlooking the Third Ward, long tables, delicate blue details, gold accents, and abundant garden-inspired florals filled the space while still allowing the incredible city views to shine.

Personal touches made the day distinctly theirs. Mini bottles of Tito’s doubled as guest favors and seating assignments, bringing a playful moment into the design, while Dippin’ Dots for dessert added an unexpected dose of nostalgia. Before the evening moved into full celebration mode, J + K slipped away for a private cake cutting, a quiet moment together in the middle of a very full day.

From a rooftop ceremony overlooking Milwaukee to a complete room flip, skyline views, spring garden florals, and details that didn't take themselves too seriously, J + K’s wedding perfectly balanced elevated design with personality and fun, proof that a beautiful wedding can still feel completely relaxed, personal, and unmistakably you.

H + D’s wedding at the Milwaukee County Historical Society was romantic, playful, and unapologetically pink, bringing a fresh burst of color into one of Milwaukee’s most architecturally striking spaces. Their design moved through shades of blush, rose, coral, and vibrant pink, layered with touches of gold and candlelight for a celebration that felt glamorous without losing its personality.

The ceremony took place outside against the Historical Society’s grand architecture, where lush pink florals softened the stately backdrop and created a beautiful contrast against the historic stonework. Inside, the building’s ornate details, soaring windows, and old-world character became part of the reception design rather than something to compete with. Tables were filled with florals in varying shades of pink and layers upon layers of candlelight, from glowing tabletop lamps to tapers and votives, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere as evening settled in. The gold-framed table numbers carried the romantic, vintage-inspired details throughout the room.

Personal details made the celebration unmistakably H + D. A custom floral-print seating chart displayed in collected gold frames felt more like an art installation than traditional wedding signage, while the venue’s historic vault became an unexpected photo booth for guests. And then there was the detail impossible to forget: H’s iconic pink veil, a bold, playful moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the entire celebration.

From the saturated florals and glowing tables to vintage gold details, historic architecture, and one seriously unforgettable veil, H + D’s wedding was proof that romance doesn't have to be subtle. Every corner felt warm, personal, and full of life, a celebration that embraced color, character, and a little bit of drama in all the right ways.
